Home Start in Manchester are looking for volunteers with parenting / childcare experience to support a family with young children who are experiencing difficulties for 3 hours a week.
Help a family make new friends, get out and about, build confidence with parenting and give them hope.
Full training and support package and expenses provided. Successful applicants subject to satisfactory references, DBS checks and interviews.
6 week training course starts in September at Manchester Arndale Centre on Wednesdays – 14th, 21st and 28th September, 5th, 12th and 19th October. (Please see details below.)

If you are unable to attend all sessions, please inform us before start of course.
- Travel expenses can be collected either on a weekly basis or at the end of the course (please keep receipts for travel).
- Tea and coffee will be provided but you will be required to provide your own lunch (there are places to buy lunch nearby or you can bring it with you).
- Parking at the open air carpark on Rochdale Road is a short walk to the Arndale and your parking ticket will be reimbursed. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of parking in the Arndale multi-storey, we are unable to reimburse tickets for this carpark.
