You are invited to Christ Church Harpurhey Men’s weekend. Each year we have great worship and teaching, good food, good fellowship, Saturday hike, Quiz night, free time to socialize. A time of rest, refreshing and, fellowship for all men! Each year about 50 men of various ages and from various local churches, enjoy an uplifting weekend together to encourage us to be the men of God we are called to be.
The Weekend begins on Friday afternoon / evening and ends at Sunday lunchtime.
Our guest speaker this year is Santino Hamberis. I am sure he will bring us a powerful and challenging message.
San along with his wife and two children have recently moved to Manchester to join the leadership team of Vinelife. Prior to this San served as a pastor at Kings Church in Hastings.
15 years ago San was instantly set free from a serious drug addiction and he has a passion to see others encounter the love of Jesus that turned his life “upside down and inside out”.
Once again we are going to Quinta Hall, a Christian center located in North West Shropshire, close to the Welsh border. The facilities are excellent, it is a large building with comfortable, modern facilities, two lounges with log fires a large meeting hall for worship and fellowship, table tennis table, table football and pool table and will make an ideal location for our Saturday hike and weekend together
If you would like to come and join in the fun and fellowship you can reserve your place by texting or emailing your name to me, Steve Nicholson. Email firstname.lastname@example.org. Tel 07786703892
Cost for the whole weekend including food and accommodation is a £40 donation. Please note that this year we will be asking you to cover your costs by giving a £40 donation and gift aiding it so that we can claim back the tax and use it to keep the cost of the weekend down.
This is dependent on you being a basic rate tax payer. We will arrange the forms for you to fill-in and apply for the tax refund.
